Ah that Arnage. I get the point of the Nardo Coupé being given central importance since you work for VAG, but if I were you I'd switch it with the Arnage, so that when my co-workers passed by my desk I could tell them "as you may see, I'm a true gentleman *smug*".

The Arnage is missing its driver's-side mirror, unfortunately.

I had that EB110SS in 1:18 many many years ago. Wish my desk was big enough to have 1:18 or 1:24 models on it. I have deal with hotwheels, and 1:48 stuff.

I like my models to all be in scale.
Impressed you found a Phaeton model, with how unloved the car was

"It's British, don't you know? *hides LHD*"

edit: unloved BY SOME :)

Hey,
Organize a Cars and Coffee in Edmonton.
And by organize, I mean convince VW to send over one of everything they make.
Pretty please? :p

My desk only has a '79 Range Rover and a '93 Ford Ranger 4wd at the moment, but I'm going to have a 64.5 Mustang, '61 Ranchero, and '63 E-type joining them soon.

Same here. I do have a 1/24 Murcielago LP640 but my monitors are lined with Hotwheels.

Look at all that VAG.
Also, *Aventador.

I have an EB110 model just like that! Might even be the exact same.

None of those things are surprising.
The only bad thing is they make you wear shoes.
![]() 08/16/2013 at 11:25 |

Yeah, I'm not crazy about that part, but such is life. Google HQ is the only office I've been to where shoes are optional.

Lamborghini is part of VAG, too.

Is it by Burago?

That's a job for Volkswagen Canada , I'm afraid.

I probably could've phrased that better. :/
You said that Lamborghini was a Murcielago but I'm 99.9% sure that's an Aventador.

Oh God, I'm an idiot. I know it's an Aventador, I swear. My brain isn't working this morning.

Yea not happening, VW Canada isn't as cool with the times.
You know its messed up when VW doesn't like public events (oh God our Porsche Party was several grades of the hell is going on) yet Ferrari happily sends up a car or two almost every weekend for Cars and Coffee.

In Virginia, I know we've sent a Veyron and an Aventador to C&C a couple of times.

Thats funny because the Cars and Coffee in my area (Sarasota, Fl) is sponsored by the local VW/Porsche/Audi dealership. They have it in their lot.

You think your boss would be upset if you put a BMW or Mercedes on your desk?
![]() 08/16/2013 at 11:45 |
|
I don't remember, and I think it's somewhere in the basement so checking is a bit of a pain. I'll get back to you on that, though.
![]() 08/16/2013 at 12:00 |

but do you drive them back and forth on the desk making car noises??? "vrooom vroom... screeeech, gearchange, vrooooooooooooooom" and the like.
![]() 08/16/2013 at 12:50 |

I don't know, but it's probably not the best idea.

*Bburago
I had a Black version and a Blue Version. It never really occurred to me how powerful (and rare) that car actually is..
![]() 08/16/2013 at 13:39 |

What size is that?
![]() 08/16/2013 at 13:40 |
|
It's 1/24 scale.
![]() 08/16/2013 at 13:42 |

Oh man, that's a nice collection. I only have one car on my desk.... so far.

The real thing may be rare, but thankfully the model isn't. I just picked it up this week on eBay for a cool ten bucks!
